Innovations that are useful like this get a Stcky and a big THANK YOU.Moved it to the more appropiate "Monster Shark Gear"section. What color does the rod have in the daytime?

PS,,,,,I try at all cost not to be 300 yards away from my rod at night,,I don't think I can see that far LOL  Also the glowing rod concept in the dark combined with mask and snorkel would be great if you have the cojones to go after your swimming rod in the middle of the night

The color is white, i uploaded some additional pictures that i made with the rod in daytime, they are uploaded in the original post.

I was thinking about that, it all comes down to applying properly digital camera's settings.

It's in the epoxy all around - it can't be done at this point, but is possible for future rods. That's what cements the guides. I personally like the idea of being able to see the glow all around the rod, makes it more appealing.

Now you need to make a Black blank with Red glow. Name them Skywalker and Vader.

nice.

What about led lights? could you incorporate them in the blank some how? they would last for ever and require a minimal battery to opperate for years.

When heavy duty blanks will be made transparent, then something like that will be easy to implement. Till then, the glow is you best bet.

I wrapped my tips with some reflective tape after seeing your rod - it works a treat. Thanks for the idea! :D
